In their previous game, India defeated Scotland by 8 wickets. Scotland were bowled out for 85 while batting first in the match. Opener George Munsey scored 24 runs but the rest of the batsmen could not score big. Mohammed Shami and Ravindra Jadeja picked 3 wickets each while Jasprit Bumrah picked 2 wickets.

Later, KL Rahul slammed a quickfire 50 while Rohit Sharma hit 30 runs. India managed to reach the target in just 6.3 overs with quickfire knocks by openers. For Scotland, Mark Watt and Bradley Wheal picked 1 wicket each.

Talking about Namibia, the team lost to New Zealand in their previous match. Batting first, New Zealand piled up 163-4 on the scoreboard. Glenn Phillips and James Neesham were the team’s top run-scorers with 39 and 35 run-knocks respectively.

Later, Namibia openers Stephan Baazrd and Michael van Lingen hit 21 and 25. Namibia could only manage 111-7 in 20 overs and lost the match by 52 runs. Kiwi pacers Tim Southee and Trent Boult picked 2 wickets each.
