IND vs PAK: Best XI Of Players Who Will Be Absent From The Clash. India and Pakistan are set to battle against each other in their opening game of ICC T20 World Cup 2021. The IND vs PAK match will take place on October 24 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Both the teams are part of group 2 in the tournament. India won both of their warm-up games while Pakistan won 1 game and lost 1.

Due to stiff competition and form, there are many good players who could not make it to the squad of both teams. There were some deserving players but were overlooked by the selectors for the final squad. He also led a second-string Indian squad for a Sri Lanka tour in July. However, due to nail-biting competition for the openers’ slot, Dhawan could not make it into India’s squad.

Prithvi Shaw

Prithvi Shaw is another player who will be absent from IND vs PAK clash of T20 World Cup 2021. Shaw has been in spectacular form since the start of this year. In IPL 2021 too, he hit many good knocks for the team. He also played some good knocks during Sri Lanka tour in July.

Sohaib Maqsood

Sohaib Maqsood is a Pakistani batsman who was earlier selected for Pakistan’s squad for T20 World Cup 2021. However, due to a lower back injury, he could make up for the tournament and was replaced by Shoaib Malik. Maqsood showed good batting form during some previous series of the team. In 26 T20I games so far, he has scored 273 runs at an average of 13.65.

Sharjeel Khan

Sharjeel Khan is another Pakistan batsman who could not make it to Pakistan’s squad for the tournament and hence will be absent from IND vs PAK squad. In 21 T20I matches, he has piled up 406 runs in 21 games at an average of 22.56. He has also slammed 2 half-centuries in T20Is.

Sanju Samson (WK)

Sanju Samson is a wicket-keeper batsman who will be absent from the IND vs PAK clash in ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Samson showed good form during the Sri Lanka tour in July. Later, he also batted well in IPL 2021 while playing for Rajasthan Royals. However, he was not selected for India’s tour in T20 World Cup 2021.

Yuzvendra Chahal was the most promising player for India who could not make it to T20 World Cup 2021. He could not bowl well in the IPL 2021 1st leg due to which he was overlooked by selectors. However, he showed an impressive performance in the UAE leg. He will be another good player absent from the IND vs PAK clash.
