Australia scored 152-5 against India in the warm-up match. Their top-order got out cheaply. Later, Steve Smith hit a fifty (57) while Marcus Stonis hit 41 off 25. Glenn Maxwell hit 37 runs. Later, Indian opener Rohit Sharma smacked 60 runs to bag a comfortable victory for the team by 9 wickets.

Talking about Pakistan, the team defeated West Indies in the warm-up match but lost to South Africa in ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Pakistan restricted West Indies to 130-7 in the first innings. Shimron Hetmyer scored most 28 runs for the team. Later, with a half-century by Babar Azam and unbeaten 46 by Fakhar Zaman, Pakistan won the match by 7 wickets.

In the match against South Africa, Pakistan posted a good total of 186-7 batting first. Fakhar Zaman hit unbeaten 52 runs. However, with an unbeaten century by Rassie van der Dussen (101*), South Africa won the match by 6 wickets in the end.
