Every team has their own strength, our bowling has always been dominant. When you want to win a big tournament, the onus is on the bowlers to perform well, our bowlers are in good shape. They have experience of playing big tournaments like the Champions Trophy, World Cup.”

“I am always focused on keeping things simple, I try to stick by my game and I just want to take it ball by ball,” Babar added.

Notably, Pakistan has never defeated India in the World Cup encounters whether it is a T20 World Cup or a 50-over World Cup. India has a 12-0 lead against arch-rivals Pakistan in the World Cups.

Sarfaraz Khan is a good player of spin and has the confidence of playing against India. Of course, Sarfaraz will get his chance in matches to come. Shoaib Malik plays spin very well on the front foot and tackles the spin very well that’s why we have opted for him.”
