8. Wanindu Hasaranga
Much like Asalanka, Sri Lanka’s all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga was equally impressive in the tournament. He kept the batsmen guessing with his guile and turn, dishing out outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
In his very first ICC event, Hasaranga claimed a hat-trick in the match against South Africa. Wanindu Hasaranga is currently the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, having managed to pick 16 wickets in 8 matches at an average of 9.75.
