T20 World Cup 2022 will begin on October 16 with the Qualifier matches. During the qualifier matches, there are 2 groups A and B. Each team will play 1 match against their group teams. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the super 12 round.

In the super 12 round of Asia Cup 2022, 8 teams are already part of the tournament. 4 more teams after the Qualifier round will also join them. During ICC T20 World Cup 2022, a total of 42 games will take place. The final will take place on November 13, 2022.

A total of 16 teams are part of ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Out of these, 8 teams are part of the Qualifier round while 8 are part of the Super 12 round. In the Qualifier round, there are teams like Sri Lanka, Namibia, UAE, Netherlands, West Indies, Scotland, Zimbabwe, and Ireland.

There are 4 groups for ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Two groups are for Qualifier round- Group A and B. Sri Lanka, Namibia, UAE, and Netherlands are part of group A. West Indies, Scotland, Zimbabwe, and Ireland are part of group B.

Each team will play one match with each group member during the Qualifier round. The top two teams from each group will get a place in the super 12 round. Hence, 4 teams will join the super 12 round of ICC T20 World Cup 2022 later.

In the super 12 round, there 8 confirmed teams. They are divided into 2 groups- 1 and 2. In group 1, there are 4 teams currently- Australia, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and England. In group 2, there is India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and South Africa. After the Qualifier round, each group will have 2 more teams. Hence, there will be 6 teams each in Group 1 and Group 2 during the super 12 round.
