Indian Cricket Team has been riding high on confidence after winning 4 matches out of 5 in the group stage. The Men in Blue have looked quite invincible as they have found match-winners on the given day. Skipper Rohit Sharma though would be worried as they can’t afford to get complacent.

England would be banking on their bowlers as they have got a lot of variety in their attack. England would like to learn from their 2021 T20 WC Semi Defeat as they had a pretty good tournament but failed to win key moments. Skipper Jos Buttler though would be tested as this is his maiden stint as a captain in the ICC tournament.

Brad Hogg on Rohit Sharma

Brad Hogg was seen talking on his You-Tube Channel and made interesting statements about Rohit Sharma. I’m a little bit worried about Rohit Sharma, I think he has got too much on his plate at the moment. I think since he has been captain, I don’t think I have seen the solid footwork that we have seen at his best. He is just hanging the bat outside off stump and hoping that he finds the middle.” said Brad Hogg.

“It does not seem positive enough, the positive Rohit Sharma that we have seen. I think that the pressure of captaincy has started to weigh on him because this is a big tournament.” he added.

Stern Test for India

The Men in Blue will have to be spot-on with their game plan as England would be well-prepared. The peculiarity of the England Cricket Team is that they bat very deep which gives them a lot of options. Sam Curran can be the surprise package as the all-rounder has been quite lethal with the ball in hand.

The Men in Blue though once again has a conundrum  of Dinesh Karthik & Rishabh Pant. Dinesh Karthik looks most likely to get the nod over Rishabh Pant as the veteran is immensely experienced. It would be interesting to see how the match unfolds as England holds a slight edge due to their fearless approach.
