India is all set to lock horns against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2022. There are chances that the high-voltage clash can get wash-out as there is rain expected. The World Cricket is eagerly anticipating the clash as this time both teams are evenly matched.

Pakistan would be hoping that they can continue their winning momentum, The way they won Tri Series was remarkable as Babar Azam was quite spot on with his captaincy in New Zealand. At the same time, there are still concerns over their middle order where the batters are not performing according to their credentials.

Babar Azam Funny Incident

Babar Azam was having a pre-match press conference ahead of the India match and was asked about the rain threat. “Nai sir. Bacchonconference ko koi lori nahi suna rahe (No sir. We are not singing lullaby to a baby!). said Babar

“Weather hamaare haath me nahi hai. But as a player, as a captain, main chaahunga poora match ho, because saare log wait kar rahe hain. Jaisa bhi situation ho, ham koshish karenge ki apna 100 percent dein (Weather is not in our hands. But as a player and as a captain, I would want the match to take place. Everyone is waiting for it. Whatever the situation is, we will try to give our 100 percent),”  he added.

Exciting Contest on Cards

The match is going to be played at the iconic MCG where we can expect some fascinating contests. Head Coach Rahul Dravid and Skipper Rohit Sharma will have to be spot-on with their selection as the opening match can decide the fate of the tournament.

Skipper Babar Azam would be aware of the fact that he and Rizwan can’t repeat the feat of the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.  The likes of Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz need to make sure that they are playing handy cameos.
