Australia follows them with a close margin with a PCT of 70.0. While South Africa has won 5 games and lost 2 out of 7, Australia has won 6 and lost only 1 game, while 3 ended in draws.

Pakistan and India hold the 3rd and 4th spot respectively. With 8 victories, 2 defeats and 2 draws, Pakistan owns a PCT of 58.33. With 6 wins, 4 losses, and 2 draws, India has a PCT of 52.08. West Indies takes the 5th spot in ICC World Test Championship points table, with a PCT of 50.0 with 4 wins, 3 defeats, and 2 draws out of 9 games.

Sri Lanka recently lost a Test match to Pakistan and holds the 6th spot in World Test Championship 2021-23 points table with a PCT of 48.15. England, who has won 5 games and lost 7 out of 16 so far, is placed in the 7th spot with a PCT of 33.33.

New Zealand and Bangladesh take the last two spots on the table. With a PCT of 25.93, New Zealand takes the 8th spot. They have 2 wins, 6 defeats and 1 draw in their kitty. Bangladesh has only won 1 Test and lost 8 out of 10 so far. and they take the last 9th spot with a PCT of 13.33.

India started their ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 journey with the England tour in August last year. During the tour, India played 4 Tests against England. They won 2 matches and lost 1, while 1 game ended in a draw.

Later, India lost the final rescheduled match and the series ended in a 2-2 tie. Later, India lost a three-match Test series to South Africa 2-1. India has played 4 Test series so far, playing 12 games. Winning 6 games, losing 4 and drawing 2, India has a PCT of 52.08 and takes the 4th spot in the table.

England

England played their 1st Test series in ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 against India. The series, which witnessed its final rescheduled Test recently, ended in a 2-2 tie. Against Australia in Ashes 2021-22 series, England faced a humiliating 4-0 defeat.

England also lost a Test series against West Indies 1-0. However, with a 3-0 Test series victory against New Zealand last month, England has bettered their position in World Test Championship. They take the 7th spot with a PCT of 33.33.

Pakistan

Pakistan has now dropped the 4th spot in World Test Championship 2021-23 points table. Pakistan has a PCT of 52.08 after playing 3 Test series. They are currently playing a Test series against Sri Lanka, in which they recently won the 1st Test. Out of 8 games, Pakistan has won 4, lost 2, and drawn 2.

West Indies

West Indies takes the 5th spot in ICC World Test Championship 2021-23. Although West Indies bagged a major breakthrough by defeating England in a Test series 1-0 earlier, they still have a long way to qualify for the finals. West Indies have played 8 Tests, winning 4, losing 3, and drawing 2.

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has dropped to the 6th spot in the World Test Championship points table. The Asian team has a PCT of 48.15, after winning 4 and losing 4 games in 4 Test series. They have also drawn one game. They recently lost a Test match to Pakistan.

New Zealand

New Zealand takes the 8th spot in ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 points table with a PCT of 25.93. The recent Test series loss to England 3-0 took a big toll on New Zealand’s position in WTC points table. New Zealand has won just 2 games and lost 6 out of 9, with 1 game ending in a draw.

Australia got a spectacular start to its journey in ICC World Test Championship 2021-22 with the Ashes 2021-22 series. Facing England at home in the 5-match series, Australia won the series 4-0. They have slipped to the 2nd spot with a PCT of 70.0. Australia accounts for 6 wins, 1 loss, and 3 draws.

South Africa

South Africa takes the top spot in World Test Championship with a PCT of 71.43. The team has won 5 games and lost 2 out of 7 so far, playing 3 Test series. They have also ousted Australia from the top spot. South Africa is bound to play 3 Tests against England soon. The results of the series will have a big effect on the WTC standings.
