ICC WTC 2021-23: Updated Points Table After England, India Lose Points Due To Slow Over-Rate

ICC WTC 2021-23 Updated Points Table. India hold the top spot in ICC WTC 2021-23 updated points table after the conclusion of India vs England 2021 Test series. Pakistan and West Indies are placed on the 2nd and 3rd spot of ICC World Test Championship 2021-23 points table respectively. England are placed at the bottom.

Teams are ranked in ICC WTC 2021-23 points table on the basis of PCT (Percentage of Points). During the India vs England Test series, the first Test ended in a draw. India defeated England in the 2nd Test by 151 runs. Later, England defeated India by an innings and 76 runs in the 3rd Test. India also defeated England in the 4th Test by 157 runs to bag a 2-1 lead. The Pakistan tour of the West Indies witnessed 2 games. West Indies won the 1st match by 1 wicket while Pakistan won the 2nd game by 109 runs. Pakistan lost the 1st Test against West Indies by a narrow margin of 1 wicket. However, they bounced back in the 2nd and final Test of the tour and won by 109 runs. With 1 win and 1 loss in the tournament so far, Pakistan have a PCT of 50, which allows them the 2nd spot in the World Test Championship 2021-23 Updated Points Table.

Like Pakistan, West Indies have also won 1 match and lost 1 match in ICC WTC. Against Pakistan, West Indies executed commendable hard work to win the 1st Test. However, they lost the 2nd Test with a big margin. The series ended in a draw 1-1, but West Indies managed to get 50 PCT and 12 points on the updated ICC WTC points table.
