The final Super 12 stage match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 took place on Sunday, November 6, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, and featured the No. 1 batter in the ICC Men’s T20I Batting Rankings Suryakumar Yadav versus the Craig Ervine-captained Zimbabwe National Cricket Team.

Suryakumar Yadav has the intent to score boundaries: Robin Uthappa

Robin Uthappa was too short of words to describe Suryakumar’s stunning knock in the post-match presentation on ESPNcricinfo.

“Suryakumar Yadav is unconcerned with what is going on around him; all he cares about is where he is headed and how he will perform and score runs for himself and the team.

“It’s fantastic to see how he’s constantly able to get runs, and when we look at how he scored, we can see that he’s capable of surviving pressure even when wickets fall back to back,” Robin Uthappa said.

“He simply went deep into the game and was still getting boundaries here and there. He has a strong urge to score boundaries, which makes him interesting to watch,” Robin Uthappa remarked on ESPNcricinfo.

At the Adelaide Oval on Thursday, Team India will play Jos Buttler’s England in the second semifinal of the ICC men’s T20 World Cup 2022. (November 10).
