IND vs SA: Watch - Arshdeep Singh Traps Rilee Rossouw Against South Africa

Indian Cricket Team had won the toss and elected to bat first. South African pacers were quite bang on target with their line and length. India managed to score a below-par 133-9 where Suryakumar Yadav smashed a turbulent knock of 68 runs in 40 balls.

In the 2nd over, Arshdeep Singh took the big wicket of Quinton de Kock on his very first ball of the over. Quinton de Kock is someone who can take the game away from the opposition in a couple of overs. We all witnessed how he pummeled Zimbabwe and Bangladesh Cricket.

Rilee Rossouw had come into the crease in the 2nd over where the score was 3 runs for the loss of 1 wicket. The left-handed batter was leaving dangerously. Arshdeep bowled an in-swinging delivery where he trapped Rilee. The umpire gave not-out but later Captain Rohit Sharma went for a 3rd umpire review. The ball was hitting the middle and leg of the stumps where South Africa was reeling at 3-2 in 1.3 overs.

South Africa in Trouble

The team has heavily relied on their top order to amass runs. Chasing 134 runs is not a big task by any means as a 50-60 runs partnership would be ample to hunt down the target. All eyes would be on Aiden Markram as he has the knack of playing long and effective innings.

India would be well aware of the fact that they can win only if they bundle out South Africa. Rohit Sharma’s captaincy would be tested as  South Africa would be targeting Hardik Pandya who is their 5th bowler.  The role of Ravichandran Ashwin can decide the fate of the match as he recently has developed a lot of variations.
