3. Srikar Bharat

Srikar Bharat is the first Indian player who can be benched throughout the IND vs BAN Test series. The right-handed batsman is the secondary wicketkeeper in India’s squad.

Rishabh Pant is part of the team and will be the primary wicketkeeper for the team during the Test matches. Hence, Bharat is highly likely to miss both games. Bharat has been part of some previous Test series too but has not managed to make his debut so far.

2. Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav is another Indian player who can be benched in both the India vs Bangladesh Test matches. The left-arm spinner last played a Test match against England in February 2021. Since Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel are part of the India Test squad, they are more likely to be part of the playing XI.

Ravichandran Ashwin will be the primary spinner for India against Bangladesh. As a left-arm spinner, the team can pick Axar Patel as he also has the ability to bat. Hence, Kuldeep Yadav might have to wait in the queue.

Shubman Gill is another player who might be benched throughout the IND vs BAN Test series. The right-handed batter has shown impressive form in recent games. However, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are both part of the India squad.

They are expected to play as openers in the 1st Test. If they manage to score well and give a good start to the team, Gill might not get a chance to play in both games.
