The 37-year-old India National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik feels that the Litton Das-led Bangladesh National Cricket Team will give it all to complete a 3-0 ODI clean sweep over India National Cricket Team.

Bangladesh defeated India by 1 wicket in the nail-biting first ODI and by 5 runs in the thrilling second ODI to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.

The inconsequential third ODI between the Bangla Tigers and the Men In Blue will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Saturday, December 10.

Speaking on Cricbuzz ahead of the third ODI, Dinesh Karthik said that the Bangla Tigers will definitely “go for the kill” in the third ODI as the opportunity of beating India by 3-0 doesn’t come very often. He said:

“Bangladesh are definitely going to go for the kill. The fact that they can beat 3-0 is not something that is going to come around too often, so when they have that opportunity, they are going to try and by all means try to pounce on it and achieve that.”

Dinesh Karthik Feels Ebadot Hossain Might Be Rested For 3rd ODI

The veteran India National Cricket Team wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik, while talking about potential changes to the Bangladesh XI for the final ODI, said that the pacer Ebadot Hossain might be rested to keep him fresh for the Test series.

He stated: “Ebadot will be playing the Test matches, so do they want to keep him fresh for the Test matches or do they want to make sure that he can go ahead with the ODI and be ready for the Tests as well. Other than that, I do not see any other change in that Bangladesh team.”

On Thursday, December 8, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the squad for the first match of the two-match Test series against the India National Cricket Team.

The first Test match of the series will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram from December 14 to 18 and the second Test will be played from December 22 to 26 at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.
