Bangladesh defeated India by 1 wicket in the IND vs BAN 1st ODI. Batting first in the match, India posted 186-10. While all India batters failed to score well, KL Rahul was an exception with his 73-run knock. All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan grabbed 5 crucial wickets to dismantle Indian batting.

Later, Bangladesh opener Litton Das scored 41 runs for the team. Shakib Al Hasan scored 29 runs. Bangladesh lost some crucial wickets in the middle. At one stage, Bangladesh reached 136-9 on the board and needed 51 more runs to grab victory. However, Mehidy Hasan Miraz scored unbeaten 38 runs to drive the home team to victory by 1 wicket in the end.
