IND vs BAN: KL Rahul Gives A Major Update On Rohit Sharma's Availability Ahead Of 2nd Test Against Bangladesh

KL Rahul, India’s stand-in captain, said regular skipper Rohit Sharma’s availability for the second Test against Bangladesh will be known in a couple of days.
The second Test between Bangladesh and India will begin on December 22 in Mirpur.

The first Test, which India won by 188 runs on Sunday under Rahul’s captaincy and in which Rohit, who had captained India in two ODIs of the prior series, was unable to play.
After suffering a left thumb injury while playing in the second ODI match against Bangladesh at Mirpur on December 7, Rohit returned to India. His replacement has been named Abhimanyu Easwaran.

“About Rohit, we may be able to know (his status) in the next day or two, even though I am not aware of it,” Rahul said at the post-match press conference.

KL Rahul described the team’s performance in the first Test victory over Bangladesh as a whole, noting that they played as a coherent one and accomplished well in every area.
“Everything was prominent. We batted and bowled quite well. We also took the majority of the catches that came our way while fielding. That is how Test matches are won. “Only one or two players can win matches in whatever format,” KL Rahul remarked.
