IND vs ENG: If Virat Kohli Is Fit, You Have To Give Up Your Place In The XI- Wasim Jaffer Predicts For The Second ODI

Wasim Jaffer, a former batsman for India, suggested a batsman for Virat Kohli to replace in the second ODI and offered an explanation for why Suryakumar Yadav ought to be in the starting lineup.
Fans will be eagerly awaiting the team selection and to see who replaces the former skipper because Virat Kohli is expected to make a return for the second India vs. England ODI.
Iyer didn’t have the opportunity to bat in the opening ODI as the Indian openers easily won the match by themselves. In 25.2 overs, the hosts were dismissed for 110 runs, with Jasprit Bumrah getting six wickets. Mohammed Shami also received three dismissals during this time.
India easily reached 114/0 in 18.4 overs while chasing a 111-run mark because of Rohit Sharma’s unbroken innings of 76 runs off 58 balls. Seven fours and five sixes were featured in his ferocious knock. Shikhar Dhawan, the Indian captain’s opening partner, scored 31 runs off 54 balls to maintain his perfect record.
‘It is a little unfortunate for Shreyas Iyer’: Wasim Jaffer
Wasim Jaffer, a former cricketer for India, suggested a batsman that Kohli might replace in the second ODI.
“Since Suryakumar Kumar batted brilliantly in the T20Is, I believe it will be Shreyas Iyer. You cannot take him out since he is in good shape. I believe the trade will be like for like. Shreyas Iyer will be replaced at No. 3 by Virat Kohli “he stated.
Wasim Jaffer further said, “if a significant player like Kohli was ill or unable to participate. You will have to go from your place on the team if he becomes fit.”
If given an opportunity in the second ODI, Kohli, who was ineffective during the T20Is, will be looking to produce a high score. He has 12311 runs at a strike rate of 92.92 in 260 ODI games. He has also 43 centuries and 64 half-centuries.
