Mushtaq Ahmed, a former cricketer for Pakistan and an ex-coach for England, apparently asserted that he offered Kohli some advice on his batting during India’s current tour of England and that the India batsman used it to improve his batting.
Since November 2019, Virat Kohli has not scored a century. Before that, he usually smashed records and rewrote history while also scoring hundreds of runs.

Mushtaq Ahmed stated during an appearance on the ARY News program Bouncer that he previously spoke with Kohli while the Indian cricketer was working out in preparation for the England series and gave him the advice to improve his front foot movement.
“Virat once approached me when he was working out in the gym and inquired about how things were going. After a brief talk, I gave him some advice because he is knowledgeable and a good listener,” Mushtaq said.

“I explained to Virat that when you score the first 10-15 runs, your front footfalls are directly on the ground. However, when you try to drive the ball, your foot takes an outside nick even when the ground is flat.”
‘Kohli did acknowledge his advice’: Mushtaq Ahmed
The former cricketer for Pakistan acknowledged that Kohli had taken his advice and applied it to the tour.
“After that, I observed that the hitter started to shuffle across the pitch to get the ball in the middle, but as you are likely aware, when a batter shuffles, especially while it is swinging, he loses track of where his off-stump was.”

“He was carefully listening to all of my points and acknowledged me, ‘That is a very good point Mushi bhai, and I would work on it,'” Mushtaq Ahmed said.
Virat Kohli did not take part in the first one-day of the three-match series on Tuesday at the Kennington Oval in London (July 12).
