The Indian fast bowling duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were applauded by former left-arm pacer RP Singh after they contributed significantly to the team’s victory in the second T20I match against England.
He believes that bowling partnerships are just as important as batting partnerships because the players can learn from one another.

India achieved a respectable 170 out of 8. India’s top scorer was Ravindra Jadeja, who made an unbeaten 46 off 29 balls. Rishabh Pant added a 15-ball 26 and Rohit Sharma hit a 20-ball 31. Richard Gleeson (3/15) took three wickets on his debut, and Chris Jordan (4/27) was England’s best bowler.

As they chased, England consistently kept wickets to be bowled out for 121 in 17 overs. The top scorer for England was Moeen Ali, who hit 35 off 21 balls, followed by David Willey’s undefeated 33. Jasprit Bumrah (2/10) and Yuzvendra Chahal (2/10) both claimed two wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/15) claimed three for India. India had earlier defeated England at Southampton in the first T20I match by a score of 50 runs.
‘They dismissed key batters in the first six overs’: RP Singh
RP Singh praised Bhuvneshwar and Bumrah for their bowling efforts after the victory. He said the following during a post-game Cricbuzz conversation:
“Just like in batting, partnerships are crucial in bowling. A few years ago, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar were a very effective duo, but their union was torn up by injury (to Bhuvneshwar). The result of their six first-inning strikeouts of today’s game was a 49-run victory” RP Singh said.

Jasprit Bumrah (2/10) and Yuzvendra Chahal (2/10) both claimed two wickets, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar (3/15) claimed three for India.
India took a commanding 2-0 lead in the three-match series on Saturday after defeating England by 49 runs in the second T20 International.
