Team India takes on Northamptonshire in a warm-up T20 game at the County Ground, Northampton on Sunday, July 3. The match starts at 2.30 pm local time (7 pm IST). India won their previous T20 warmup game against Derbyshire on July 1. 

The BCCI has announced the Indian white-ball squads for the T20I and ODI series against England. The team that played against England has been picked for both the warmup games against Derbyshire and Northamptonshire

Several of the players who played against Ireland have also been picked for the England series. Rohit Sharma returns to lead the side against the Three Lions. Meanwhile, Sanju Samson has been released from the T20I and the ODI squads.

Along with Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli also returns to the T20I and ODI squads for the series. Shikhar Dhawan has been picked for the ODI series along with Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj. 

The likes of Ishan Kishan, and Suryakumar Yadav Dinesh Karthik, Deepak Hooda, Hardik Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Avesh Khan, Harshal Patel, Umran Malik, Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi have retained their place in the T20I squad from the Ireland series.

Speaking about the ODI side, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh have been picked in the ODI squad too. Keeping in mind the conditions, the BCCI have added players who can be best suited for all the three ODIs. Sharul Thakur and Siraj both make a comerbakc to the side.

Meanwhile, the 5th Test between India and England is underway at Edgbaston. India reached 416 courtesy of centuries from Rishabh Pant (146) and Ravindra Jadeja (104). This happened after India were struggling at 98/5 at one point on day 1. Pant and Jadeja added a 222-run stand. On day 2, India added quick runs before being bowled out. In the process, Indian skipper Jasprit Bumrah scored 35 off Stuart Broad making him bowl the most expensive over of Test history.
