India and Ireland play the second and the final T20I of the two-match series on Tuesday, June 28. The visitors won the first T20I and are looking good to complete a clean sweep. Hardik Pandya is leading the side and he is the fifth Indian captain in 2022. The all-rounder was assigned captaincy with KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant being unavailable for the series.
Hardik Pandya impressed on his captaincy debut as he became the first Indian skipper to take a wicket. He also took the wicket on his debut game s captain which made the moment more special.

The BCCI announced a 17-member side all of who have plenty of experience of playing in the IPL. Hardik was named captain of the Indian team with Bhuvneshwar Kumar named his deputy. Andrew Balbirnie is leading Ireland. Umran Malik made his T20I debut for India.
The first game saw the Irish batsmen Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker stitch a 50-run stand to take Ireland to 108/4 batting first. Tector scored his second T20I fifty in the process and notching up his highest score. They are expected to come out harder in the second T20I in Dublin.
