Day 2 of SA vs IND 3rd Test will commence on Wednesday (January 12) at Newlands Cricket Stadium in Cape Town. On day 1, India was bowled out by South Africa for 223. Batting first, Indian openers KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal fell out cheaply at 12 and 15 respectively.

Later, Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli piled up some runs for the team. While Pujara got out for 43, Kohli kept his patience on the crease. Rishabh Pant also scored 27 runs before becoming a victim of Marco Jansen. Indian skipper Virat Kohli held the strike one end for a long time. However, he ultimately got out off Kagiso Rabada’s delivery at 79, taking India to 211-9.

In the end, India piled up 223-10 on the scoreboard. Kagiso Rabada scalped a fabulous 4-wicket haul while Marco Jansen picked 3 scalps. Duanne Olivier, Lungi Ngidi, and Keshav Maharaj managed to pick 1 wicket each.

Later, South Africa batted for a short period of 8 overs. Jasprit Bumrah gave an early blow to the team, dismissing in-form skipper Dean Elgar.
