Team India will play a white-ball series against West Indies starting from July 22 starting with a three ODI series. The series then moves into a five-match as both teams continue their preparations for the T20 World Cup in Australia later this year. The IND vs WI series will be an interesting one given that the two teams are playing some good cricket at the moment and especially in the T20I format.

India are currently in England. They will play a three-match ODI series which will follow a three-match ODI series. The BCCI has already announced the white-ball squads with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli and Jasprit making a comeback to India’s ODI and T20I squads. They will be playing the final two T20Is and then the ODIs before the IND vsWI series begins.

The BCCI selectors named two different T20I squads for the T20I series against England. The first T20I will be played by the same squad that played the Ireland series. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli make a comeback in the final two T20Is followed by the ODI series.

One expects almost the same squad to play the series against West Indies that was announced for the T20Is against West Indies. In this article, we try and predict India’s 15-member squad that might be announced for the upcoming series against West Indies. KL Rahul might continue to remain out of the Indian team due to his treatment in Germany. This also means that the lies of Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan might continue to get the long run.

The above-mentioned eight batsmen should be included in India’s 15-member squad. Rohit and Kohli will make a comeback and also Suryakumar Yadav who made a comeback in the series against Ireland. Dinesh Karthik and Pant can be the two specialist keepers and Iyer is another middle-order option along with Deepak Hooda. Hooda against Ireland became the fourth Indian batsman to make a T20I century.
