The IND vs WI series continues now with the T20Is with the first game to be played in Tarouba, Trinidad on July 20. India completed a clean sweep over West Indies in the ODI series after winning the third ODI by 119 runs in a rain-shortened game.

The third ODI was finally cut down to 26 overs after repeated rain interruptions. Shhubman Gill was left stranded on 98* as India reached 225/3 after winning the toss and choosing to bat first. Shikhar Dhawan scored 58 and added a 113-run stand with the right-hander. Shreyas Iyer then scored 44 off 36 balls to take India to that score.

With the ball, Yuzvendra Chahal picked four wickets while the other bowlers shared the wickets amongst themselves to give India a mammoth win. Gill was chosen as the Player of the Match and the series due to his consistent run of scores. The unbeaten 98 is now his highest ODI score. T20I cricket is the stronger suit for the Windies players and they will be back to playing the format they love against a potent Indian team.
