India is set to lock horns with West Indies in the 2nd T20I of the ongoing series. WI vs IND 2nd T20I will take place on August 1 (Monday). The venue of the match is Warner Park Stadium in St Kitts. India is led by Rohit Sharma in WI vs IND T20I series.

Nicholas Pooran is the skipper of West Indies in the series. India leads the series 1-0 after winning the 1st T20I. India won the 1st T20I by 68 runs. Rohit Sharma is the skipper of India in WI vs IND T20I series and will lead the team in the 2nd T20I as well. He will also open the innings for the team. In the 1st T20I, Sharma played a superb knock of 64 runs. He will aim to smash a similar knock in the next game as well.

Ishan Kishan might be the other opener for the team. Promoting Surykumar Yadav as an opener did not work in the last T20I game. Moreover, many experts also criticized this decision. Ishan Kishan is an opening batter and he might be given chance to bat as an opener in the WI vs IND 2nd T20I.

Shreyas Iyer might be the one-down batsman for the team in WI vs IND 2nd T20I. Iyer completely failed in the 1st T20I after getting out for a duck. However, the right-handed batsman showed good form in the recent ODI series against West Indies in which he also hit 2 fifties. Iyer might again get the opportunity in the 2nd T20I.

Rishabh Pant might be another middle-order batsman for the team. Pant will also keep the stumps for India in the match. He could not score many runs in the 1st T20I, getting out of 14 runs. However, the left-handed batsman owns good form at present and will look to come up with a big knock in the next game.

Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya might be an all-rounder for the team in the next game. The right-handed batsman failed with both bat and bowl in the 1st T20I. The right-handed batsman got out for just 1 run in the 1st T20I. Moreover, he also failed to get a wicket in the match. In the 2nd T20I, Pandya will aim for better performance.

Dinesh Karthik might be a lower-order batter for India in WI vs IND 2nd T20I. The right-handed batsman played a dashing knock in the 1st T20I. He slammed a quickfire knock of 41 runs off 19 balls to take India to a big total of 190-6. His knock helped India to put pressure on the opposition. Karthik also won the man of the match award in the 1st T20I.

Ravindra Jadeja might be another all-rounder in WI vs IND 2nd T20I. The all-rounder gave a decent show in the 1st T20I. With the bat, the left-handed batsman scored 16 runs. With the ball, the left-arm spinner picked 1 wicket and conceded just 26 runs in his 4 overs.

Arshdeep Singh might be another pacer for India in the next match. The left-arm pacer gave a good show in the 1st T20I. He picked 2 wickets in his 4 overs and only conceded 24 runs. Singh owns a good form and might get another opportunity in the next game.
