West Indies will face India in the 2nd T20I of the ongoing series. WI vs IND 2nd T20I is set to take place on August 1 (Monday). Warner Park Stadium in St Kitts is the venue of the match. West Indies is led by Nicholas Pooran in the WI vs IND T20I series.

Shamarh Brooks might be the other opener for the team in WI vs IND 2nd T20I. In the 1st game, Brooks scored 20 runs before losing his wicket. He started well but lost his wicket soon. In the next game, the right-handed batter will aim to give a good start to the team.

Shimron Hetmyer might be another middle-order batsman for the team in the next match. Hetmyer, who entered the squad in the T20I series, got out for 18 runs in the 1st T20I. The left-hander is a reliable middle-order batsman for the team. Hetmyer will be part of the 2nd T20I as well.

Nicholas Pooran is the captain of West Indies in WI vs IND T20I series and will lead the team in the 2nd T20I as well. The left-handed batsman will also be the wicketkeeper for the team. Pooran scored 18 runs in the 1st T20I. He lost his wicket at a very crucial moment. He will aim to make a comeback in the next game.

Jason Holder might be an all-rounder for the team in the next match. The right-handed batsman failed with the bat in the 1st T20I. He was promoted to the no.3 position but got out for a duck. Since this plan completely backfired, the team might keep Holder in the lower-order position in the next match. Holder picked 1 wicket while bowling in the last match.

Akeal Hosein might be a spinner for West Indies in WI vs IND 2nd T20I. The left-arm spinner picked 1 wicket in the 1st T20I. Hosein also bowled wonderfully by giving just 14 runs in his 4 overs. Hosein will aim for another good show in the next game.

Romario Shepherd might replace Odean Smith as a pacer in the next match. Smith got out for a duck in the 1st T20I and also failed to get a wicket in the WI vs IND 1st T20I. Shepherd showed good form in the ODI series where he scalped 2 wickets in 2 games and also scored 52 runs in 2 games.

Keemo Paul might be another pacer for the team in WI vs IND 2nd T20I. The right-arm pacer picked 1 wicket in the 1st T20I. Paul was a little bit costly with his economy rate of 12 in the 1st game. Paul will look to better his economy rate in the next game.
