India bowlers showcased a good team effort to crush Zimbabwe in the match. Axar Patel, Deepak Chahar, and Prasidh Krishna picked 3 wickets each for the team. Mohammed Siraj picked 1 wicket. During the chase, Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman came up with an outstading batting show.

Dhawan hit unbeaten 81 runs while Gill smacked 82 not-out to set up an opening partnership of 192 runs. India won the match in 30.5 overs itself by 10 wickets. Deepak Chahar, who emerged with incredible bowling figures of 3-7 in the match, won the man of the match award.
