The base price was set at INR 1 crore and the two went past the INR 3 crore mark steadily. Miller has proven himself in the IPL as a finisher and both teams were bent on having the Proteas batter in their squad.

Miller has played 89 matches in the league so far for RR and Punjab Kings combined and has scored 1974 runs at an average of 32.36 and a strike rate of 136.51.
