Hooda was elevated to the number three spot against Punjab Kings with Manish Pandey missing out. He scored a crucial 34 off 28 balls and played his part in taking LSG to 153 which in the end proved to be enough.

Stoinis has not played to his potential for LSG so far. He was dismissed for just 1 against Punjab Kings. He needs to contribute to his side given that they drafted him as one of their marquee players. The management would hope that he gets back to form in this game.

Pandya took 2 for 11 with the ball against Punjab Kings dismissing Jitesh Sharma and Bhanuka Rajapaksa. He has contributed with the ball in most of the games. With the bat, he has been handy too as admitted by KL Rahul himself.

Badoni has been given the role of a finisher for his side. He played that role to perfection in most of the previous games but has lost out on a bit of his form in the second half. However, he will get the backing of the management.

Jason Holder
