Delhi Capitals vs Punjab Kings- Delhi Capitals’ Predicted Playing XI Against Punjab Kings, IPL 2022, Match 32 DC vs PBKS
David Warner

The southpaw seems to be back in form after scoring back-to-back fifties. He has scored 131 runs in three matches so far. He scored a 66 against RCB but failed to take his side home in the chase. He will continue to open the batting.

Prithvi Shaw

The right-hander has blown hot and cold this season so far. He scored 16 against RCB in Delhi’s previous game. He will continue to open the batting alongside Warner as they would not like to break the reputed opening combination. He has scored 176 runs in five matches so far.
Rishabh Pant

Pant should ideally bat at number three for Delhi Capitals. He has pushed himself a few places lower in the batting order which has not helped their case. Pant batting at number three will give him enough time to anchor the innings as well.
Rovman Powell

Powell is yet to prove his potential for Delhi Capitals. He has not delivered what is expected of him. The problem is that no one in the playing squad is a like for like replacement for him. Marsh was the only viable option but he has not been in form and now is hospitalized.
Lalit Yadav

Yadav has been a handly option with both bat and ball for Delhi Capitals. Plus is a brilliant fielder which is a big asset for the team. Delhi would ideally like him to contribute a bit more with the bat though.
Shardul Thakur

Shardul bowled well but could not do the job with the bat. After the highs against KKR, the management would have liked him to perform consistently but that did not happen. Thakur and Axar Patel form a critical lower-order combination for Delhi Capitals.
Axar Patel

Patel will slot in at number seven and continue to do his job of bowling well and scoring key runs. So far in the IPL, Patel has bowled economically and has been the perfect foil for Kuldeep Yadav.
Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep has taken 11 wickets from five games so far in IPL 2022. He has been the team’s go-to bowler and has picked up wickets in the middle overs as well. Against RCB, he was a touch expensive though. He will like to come back to his best against Punjab.
Khaleel Ahmed

The left-arm option of Khaleel Ahmed has been preferred over the likes of Chetan Sakariya and Kamlesh Nagarkoti. He has also provided crucial breakthroughs and bowled well in the death overs as well.
Mustafizur Rahman

The Fizz has been bowling inside the powerplay and in the final overs. He has bowled well in both phases of the gamer and picked up wickets as well. So far this season, he has picked up just three wickets. However, the management has backed him to deliver and he will find a place in the XI.
Anrich Nortje / Lungi Ngidi

Anrich Nortje’s hip injury has prevented him from playing regularly for Delhi Capitals. He has played just one game for the side so far. He was one of the four players retained by the franchise. If fit, he should be back in the playing XI, and if not Lungi Ngidi should be given an opportunity to place him.
