After winning against Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals lost their previous game against LSG. They have not won back-to-back games in the season so far which is a big concern for them. In a high-scoring encounter against LSG, the side lost by six runs. However, there is a bigger problem on the side which is that of consistency.

Inconsistent performances have hurt the side as has the absence of key players. Rishabh Pant scored a brilliant 44 with handy contributions from the lower order. However, the side is hugely dependent on their openers to give them a good start which did not happen against LSG. Their bowling attack has been inconsistent as well.

SRH has now lost two games on the bounce after winning five on the trot. Their losses have come against Gujarat Titans and CSK. They now have five games remaining and need to win ideally all of them to give themselves the best chance of making it to the playoffs. They are another team who are dependent on their openers to give them good starts in every game.

Umran Malik and Natarajan are on the Purple Cap list while Abhishek Sharma has scored the most runs for the side. They have five games remaining and need to win all their remaining games as well.
