GT vs RR: Watch - Hardik Pandya Gets Jos Buttler For 39 In The IPL 2022 Final
The biggest match of IPL 2022 started off at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday with an electric performance from energy powerhouse Ranveer Singh. AR Rahman along with Niti Mohan, Mohit Chauhan and others too graced the audience of over 1 lacs with their soulful voice.
Coming to the big final, Sanju Samson won the toss and chose to bat first. Rajasthan Royals got off to a cautious start as both the openers settled into their innings.

Yashasvi Jaiswal then tried to take on the bowling but Yash Dayal got his wicket to give Gujarat Titans their first breakthrough.
After the loss of the first wicket, RR started to lose wickets at regular intervals. The wickets included that of Sanju Samson, Devdutt Padikkal and Jos Buttler. Neither Sanju Samson nor Padikka managed a big score. Samson started nicely but he got stuck against Rashid Khan while Padikkal never got going at all as he was dismissed for just 2 off 9 balls.
The most important wicket in that order was that of Jos Buttler who crossed the 800 run mark in the season. Buttler started slowly, quite similar to how he started his innings against GT in qualifier 1.
As he was looking set in his innings and had started to find his groove, Hardik Pandya got his wicket in the 13th over. It was a hard length ball, outside off, Buttler tried to nudge it towards the third man for a single but all he got was an edge. Wriddhiman Saha behind the stumps did not do any mistake as he took an easy catch. Buttler was dismissed for 39 off 35 balls and left RR in a spot of bother at 79-4.
