IPL 2022: Another Delhi Capitals Overseas Player Tests Positive For Covid-19 Ahead Of Today's Match vs PBKS

Delhi Capitals (DC) woes continued as another overseas player returned a positive result in the Rapid Antigen test that was conducted on Wednesday afternoon ahead of the clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS).
It is the sixth case in the DC camp and the second overseas player after Mitchell Marsh tested positive and had to be hospitalized. There will be another round of testing that will be conducted on Wednesday evening.
According to a report in The Indian Express, the BCCI has also told Delhi that the testing will be conducted for the players set to participate in the game at the Brabourne Stadium.

They have been told to stay in their rooms and the BCCI will send medical staff for door-to-door testing. Only the players who will test negative will be allowed to play in the game against PBKS.
The rest of the squad along with the team management will have tests scheduled after the game. The match between DC and PBKS was originally scheduled to be held at the MCA stadium in Pune but was later moved to the Brabourne Stadium for convenience purposes.

“The change of venue has been triggered due to (then) five COVID-19 positive cases in the Delhi Capitals contingent,” BCCI had said in a statement on Tuesday.
