“Hardik Pandya is composed and assured, and he understands what to do at each point in the campaign. He is the skipper of a bowling team. If you believe in yourself, he will let you make your own choices. This enhances a bowler’s trust even more. He is, without a doubt, the best leader I have ever played for.”

Yash Dayal on GT head coach Ashish Nehra:

Yash Dayal went on to explain how GT head coach Ashish Nehra supported him in IPL 2022. He stated that the former bowler trained him on the value of sticking to the fundamentals instead of attempting too many separate things.

But Ashish sir learnt me to be centered and focused, and he tried to teach me some basic intentions of following without putting too much pressure on myself. It is a highly competitive level of cricket, so you must be as well.”
