Brett Lee was pleasantly surprised by Chahal’s hat-trick against KKR and lavished praise on the Indian spinner.
With 18 wickets from eight matches, Chahal is the IPL’s leading wicket-taker, and with a few more games left, Chahal is expected to add to his total.

Brett Lee, who was astounded by Chahal’s hat-trick against KKR, lavished admiration on the India spinner and remembers the specific details of how he took all five wickets.
“Seeing a bowler get a hat-trick in any format is a joy, but it’s much sweeter when it’s a spinner.” Yuzvendra Chahal is a good bowler, to say the least. Even though he was not retained by his squad, he scored a fantastic hat-trick against KKR.”
“They appeared to be on their way to chasing down a large sum. Chahal had already taken two wickets, Nitish Rana and Venkatesh Iyer. But it was the hat-trick that stood out. He captures Shreyas Iyer in the 17th over and gets him out, plumb in the pads, LBW. On the next ball, Shivam Mavi smacks a long one,” Lee said.
He is such a great player, great to watch: Brett Lee
Brett Lee was so ecstatic that he claimed that if Tony Greig, the renowned former England captain, and broadcaster, was already living at the time, he might have jumped out of his seat to witness Chahal deliver.
“On the hat-trick ball, Pat Cummins enters the game, and Sanju Samson lays a slip.” Chahal then delivers a brilliant leg-spinner, which hits an outside edge and is caught. The parties are just out of this world, and that’s what we’re talking about. He’s a mini-celebrity. I admire his passion and dedication.”

“If Tony Grieg had been on the radio, he would have glanced at him and said, “Well, you little beauty.” He’s a fantastic player to watch and kudos on a fantastic hat-trick,” Lee added to the conversation.
In their upcoming match, Rajasthan Royals will face Mumbai Indians.
