IPL 2022: MS Dhoni Is Super Cool - Shane Watson
IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals assistant coach and former Chennai Super Kings opening batter Shane Watson in a podcast has said that MS Dhoni is a very cool customer when it comes to the game.
He revealed that the only time Watson saw Dhoni venting out his frustration was after CSK lost the final to Mumbai Indians in 2019.
Shane Watson was part of the CSK set-up from 2018-to 2020. He had scored a brilliant century in the 2018 IPL final against Sunrisers Hyderabad to help CSK register their 3rd title

MS Dhoni is known as a cool and calm captain, there have been many instances where he has controlled his composure. There are very few instances where he could be seen losing his cool.
When it comes to the IPL, MSD after getting CSK over the line against Kings XI Punjab in 2010 was seen celebrating aggressively but other than that there are very few such instances.
Shane Watson during a conversation for The Grade Cricketer podcast said “When you talk about whether he gets flustered or anything. The only time I’ve seen him a tiny bit frustrated was when we lost against Mumbai Indians in the IPL final in 2019.
“I saw him kick his bag a little bit, just a tiny bit! So, you could see how much it meant to him!”
He further added: “He’s just that type of a person who is super cool. You are around someone who, no matter what the situation is, how the team is going, he’s just so calm and that is what resonates throughout the whole group.
“One of the most important things in the cricket environment is to take all the pressure and worry and stress out. That’s what he does, because of the person he is.”
MS Dhoni is still going strong in IPL as on Thursday he made a 13 ball 28 to carry CSK over the line against MI.
