Rohit Sharma is the first player that Mumbai Indians will retain in IPL 2022. With 5 titles for the team in the tournament so far, Rohit Sharma has managed to surpass MS Dhoni in the matter of leadership at least in IPL. Moreover, he has also become the T20 skipper of the national side now.

The 34-year-old is a regular player in the national team across formats and one of the best openers in all three formats in international cricket. In IPL 2021 too, he slammed 381 runs in 13 games at an average of 29.30 and 1 fifty, finishing as the top run-getter for the team.

Ishan Kishan
