IPL 2022: Rishabh Pant Is Helping Me From Behind The Stumps- Kuldeep Yadav Enjoying DC Team Environment

Kuldeep Yadav is savoring his time at Delhi Capitals as the chinaman bowler got back with his subsequent game dominating exhibition in IPL 2022 to direct Rishabh Pant-drove side to a persuading 44-run victory upon his previous IPL side Kolkata Knight Riders.

Kuldeep said that he is enjoying the DC team atmosphere while adding that Rishabh Pant is directing him well from behind the stumps. In the sixteenth over, Kuldeep Yadav dismissed Pat Cummins, Sunil Narine and Umesh Yadav to shift the match for Delhi.

Kuldeep Yadav made some nerve-racking memories during his stretch at Kolkata Knight Riders where he got almost no help from the management, yet he got an unexpected surge of energy at Delhi Capitals in a pleasant climate with backing from captain Rishabh Pant. Kuldeep, with 10 wickets, is currently in the race for the “Purple Cap”, having missed the last version with an awful knee injury.

“I am enjoying the environment here and have a good backing from the side. Rishabh guides me well from behind the stumps, too,” Kuldeep said after the end of the match.

Rishabh, on his part, said that he has tried to give him enough chances so that he is back in the groove.“Kuldeep has been working for one year but hasn’t been getting enough chances. We are trying to back him and he is doing well.”

Working A Lot On My Bowling: Kuldeep Yadav

“Actually, I didn’t think much earlier. I felt I could reach it, and it was my wicket at the end of the day. It is important to take a pause and think about bowling. This is a good wicket and the batters do well.” He was happy that he got KKR skipper Shreyas Iyer’s wicket.

“Shreyas was batting well and hitting it well, so that was a big wicket. I enjoyed Shreyas’ wicket more because it was my first and was the main wicket from the team’s point of view, since he was batting well.

“I haven’t tried too much and I am focusing on my rhythm. That’s what I did when I returned to the Indian team. I enjoy my bowling and bowling at good lengths. I pulled the lengths against Shreyas as well as Cummins.”

Delhi Capitals have 4 points from 4 games with 2 wins and loss each. They will face RCB in their next game on Saturday after having a good 5 days of rest.
