IPL 2022: 'Show How Wonderful A Captain You Are' Aakash Chopra Discusses KL Rahul's Biggest Challenge Leading Lucknow Supergiants (LSG)

KL Rahul will not have an excuse if he does not bring his aggressive captain style to the limelight for the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL 2022, according to Aakash Chopra.
Rahul was selected in the selection by the new Lucknow-based franchise ahead of the IPL 2022 Auction. He was also chosen their skipper before the sale, so he would have had a say in team selection.
Aakash Chopra discussed the two former captains who would lead a new team in the IPL in 2022.
“Like Hardik Pandya, Rahul has a fresh start. However, Rahul will face significant difficulty in that he had been forced to play gradually for Punjab Kings due to the nature of the team. After questioning you, the team would be chosen. Since you may not have an excuse anymore, and there is no explanation, show how wonderful a captain you are.”

Rahul will have two of the greatest cricketing minds in the field to assist him, as per the former India cricketer. According to Aakash Chopra,
“Play as much as you want now. Do or die, it’s now or never. What matters is that Gautam Gambhir and Andy Flower, two brilliant minds, will be present. Get the most out of yourself because you’re a great captain and a fantastic player.”
Given that Rahul has been appointed Rohit Sharma’s deputy, Aakash Chopra also stated that Rahul is Team India’s chosen successor. He went on to say that the IPL 2022 is the ideal opportunity for the 29-year-old to prove his worth as a captain.
