LSG vs RCB: Twitter Reacts As Faf du Plessis, Josh Hazlewood Star To Take RCB To 2nd Place

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) registered their second victory on the trot courtesy of stellar performances from the skipper, Faf du Plessis, and Josh Hazlewood against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Tuesday.
Batting first, Bangalore was dealt a double blow by Dushmantha Chameera in the first over when he dismissed Anuj Rawat and Virat Kohli off consecutive balls. Glenn Maxwell walked in early and injected some momentum before falling to Krunal Pandya.
Du Plessis decided to anchor the innings and he rebuilt the innings in the company of Shahbaz Ahmed. After reaching his 50 off 40 balls, du Plessis accelerated only to fall 4 runs short of his century. Nevertheless, he ensured RCB end up with a fighting total of 181/6 on the board.
In response, Hazlewood replicated what Chameera did and dismissed Quinton de Kock and Manish Pandey across two overs. KL Rahul was dismissed for 30 after Bangalore opted for a tricky review but it proved to be a masterstroke in the end.
Krunal Pandya, promoted up the order, played his best knock of the tournament (42 off 28) but constant wickets ensured that RCB was on top. Eventually, Hazlewood had the number of his Aussie teammate, Marcus Stoinis, to end LSG’s hopes. The pacer also ended with stellar figures of 4/25 in the process.
With the victory, Bangalore once again move to the second spot on the table, only behind Gujarat Titans based on the net run rate. As for Lucknow, they dropped to 4th place on the table.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to RCB vs LSG:

I think young talents can always learn from innings like @faf1307 from #LSGvRCB game. The way captain assessed match situation and played a super knock. #LSGvsRCB pic.twitter.com/2Mg0Jsk2cg

What is happening with the umpiring @IPL , it's quite pathetic and small bad decisions lead to big outcomes! Wake up and put some people who actually can be a ref! #RCBvsLSG

Two games @LucknowIPL have held back @MStoinis so long that they’ve lost both. Wonder what’s their strategy? #RCBvsLSG
