RCB vs KKR Dream11 Prediction

Lucknow Super Giants threatened to become the first team to defend a target in IPL 2022, but late blows from Gujarat Titans’ batters David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, and Abhinav Manohar ensured it was Gujarat Titans who won the battle of the new teams. Man of the Match Gujarat Titans pacer Mohammed Shami picked three wickets in a three-over spell with the new ball.

KL Rahul was out for a golden duck before Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni scored half-centuries to bail Lucknow Super Giants out of trouble.

Chennai Super Kings too lost their opening fixture against Kolkata Knight Riders, when their batting flopped but the presence of Moeen Ali may increase their chances of winning against Lucknow Super Giants. The form of Lucknow Super Giants skipper KL Rahul, who was out without scoring against Gujarat, may prove to be vital if Lucknow wants to beat CSK.

Moeen Ali, the CSK all-rounder, finally joined Chennai Super Kings Squad on Monday morning. He’s finished his three-day quarantine period. The good news is that Moeen Ali will play in CSK’s second match against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Moeen Ali has been one of the best performers for the yellow army in 15 matches, Moeen Ali picked 6 wickets and made 357 runs with the highest score of 58 at a strike rate of 137.30 and hit 19 sixes and 31 fours for the MS Dhoni-led team.

KL Rahul has been prolific with the bat in the last four years. He has scored at least over 500 runs and ended amongst the top run-getters. The former Punjab Kings captain notably finished with the Orange Cap in the 2020 edition, hammering 670 runs in 14 games at 55.83.

KL Rahul has played 95 matches in IPL and has amassed 3273 runs at an average of 46.76. In IPL 2021, KL Rahul smashed 626 runs in 13 matches and was the third-highest run-getter, but unfortunately, failed to inspire the Punjab Kings side to a title. KL Rahul has scored 659, 593, 670, and 626 runs in the past four seasons, respectively.

Seeing the lineups of both the teams, one can see that Chennai Super Kings are looking better than Lucknow Super Giants. So, Chennai Super Kings is predicted to beat the Lucknow Super Giants in an exciting match and Ravindra Jadeja is going to be the man to change the game.

Before the IPL 2022 season kicked off, there were plenty of questions about the Lucknow middle-order lacking some firepower. The expectations from the opening partnership of KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock with Evin Lewis were pretty high, but the top 3 batters failed against Gujarat Titans before Deepak Hooda and Ayush Badoni came to their rescue.

With a below-par total onboard, the LSG pacers did a fantastic job with the new ball to keep their side in the game. Dushmantha Chameera was the wrecker-in-chief with his rapid spell upfront, dismissing Shubman Gill and Vijay Shankar in his first two overs.

While pacer Avesh Khan failed to create the kind of impact he showed last season when he was 2nd highest wicket-taker (24 scalps), there was enough to suggest that he could form a lethal combination alongside the Sri Lankan pacer. With Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya, and Ravi Bishnoi as notable spin options, there are plenty of bowling options on this side.

KL Rahul’s caliber as a batter is not in doubt, but when it comes to taking on the leadership role, it’s not the same for the Karnataka batter. The former Punjab Kings captain’s IPL record doesn’t justify his talent. In his last 28 matches as captain, his side has only won 11 games, while losing 15, with two producing no result.
