KL Rahul’s Lucknow Supergiants will face Faf du Plessis’s Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match 31 of Indian Premier League 2022  at Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai on Tuesday, 19 April 2022 at 7:30 pm.

RR vs KKR Dream11 Prediction

This is going to be a blockbuster clash of the season between two teams who have done exceedingly well so far. Both Lucknow Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore have won four games and lost two each. The pattern of victories and defeats has been identical for both teams.

RCB also like Lucknow has four wins from six matches and is placed in the third position behind Lucknow. Royal Challengers Bangalore are also on a roll this season.

After succumbing to a defeat against CSK, Faf du Plessis and his spirited band of boys came back strongly in the next game and defeated Delhi Capitals. Dinesh Karthik and Josh Hazlewood did the job for the Royal Challengers in their previous game and would be aiming to produce another comprehensive performance against an in-form LSG. Dinesh Karthik’s strike rate this season is 209.57.

In the last game itself, despite losing early wickets, Glenn Maxwell and Dinesh Karthik took the team to a 189 total which was an exceptional effort. Bangalore looks perfectly equipped as their bowling is also solid after the arrival of Josh Hazlewood and Harshal Patel.

Harshal Patel, after missing the previous contest, made a comeback against Delhi Capitals as he replaced another pacer Akash Deep. His return should ensure that there are no changes to the playing XI of RCB.

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore also had a similar tale this season. They lost their opening fixture of the tournament, before registering a hat-trick of wins to solidify their position at the top of the table. RCB lost the match against CSK last week, however, before defeating Delhi Capitals by 16 runs.

Wanindu Hasaranga has picked up 11 wickets in 6 IPL 2022 games, maintaining an average of 18 and scalping at least one wicket in each game. He will be the player to watch out for apart from Dinesh Karthik, who has set the stage on fire and hopes to represent India again at the 2022 T20I World Cup.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will play the IPL 2022 under Faf Du Plessis who has so far played over 100 games in IPL history. Notably, the 37-year-old scored 633 runs for CSK in last year’s IPL-winning campaign. He top-scored for Royal Challengers Bangalore against PBKS scoring 88, albeit in a losing cause.

The RCB captaincy had fallen vacant when the previous captain Virat Kohli had announced before the start of the 2021 season that it would be his last as the franchise’s skipper. The veteran batter from South Africa was bought by the RCB for INR 7 crore at the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. He has smashed 154 runs in IPL 2022 so far averaging 25.67 and is Royal Challengers Bangalore’s 2nd leading run-getter.

The 22-year-old cricketer from Delhi, Anuj Rawat, is quite excited at the prospect of representing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the upcoming IPL 2022 season. He was picked up by the franchise for INR 3.40 crores. The keeper already has a first-class batting average of 40.

He is the 3rd highest run-getter of RCB, managing 125 runs with a highest of 66 against Mumbai Indians. He may be replaced in the match against Lucknow, as RCB may opt to play Suyash Prabhudessai prompting Virat Kohli to open.

Virat Kohli is a right-handed batsman from Royal Challengers Bangalore. The team will expect him to play a big role once again this season. Virat Kohli is the leading run-scorer in the IPL and holds the record for the most number of centuries (4) in an IPL season.

He was retained ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction for INR 15 crores. He scored 48 against Mumbai and is the team’s 5th highest run-getter this season with 119 runs averaging a mere 23.8 which doesn’t depict a good picture going by Virat Kohli’s caliber and credentials.

Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik, the man who was responsible for India’s incredible win against Bangladesh in the Nidahas Trophy final, will be donning the RCB jersey for the second time. An incredibly fine wicket-keeper and a decent striker of the ball, Dinesh Karthik is a veteran of more than 200 IPL games.

Royal Challengers Bangalore wrested him from the jaws of Chennai Super Kings after an intense bidding war for Rs 5.50 crore. He has played the role of finisher extremely well and has set IPL 2022 on fire. He is RCB’s highest scorer in IPL 2022 with 197 runs averaging a stunning 197 and has a high strike rate of 209.57.

Glenn Maxwell

RCB’s batting unit also received a big boost in the form of Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who was available for selection against Mumbai. He will try to have another outstanding season for RCB.

He was RCB’s highest scorer in IPL 2021, amassing 513 runs in 15 IPL games averaging 42.75 with 6 fifties at a strike rate of 144.10. In 3 IPL 2022 games, he has scored 89 runs so far averaging 44.5 including a fifty (55) in the last match against Delhi.

He has scored 145 runs averaging 48.33 so far in IPL 2022. He is yet to pick a wicket though in IPL 2022, but is RCB’s 3rd highest run-getter this season and has finished vital matches for RCB.

Wanindu Hasaranga

Sri Lankan leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga joined Royal Challengers Bangalore for INR 10.75 crore at the IPL 2022 Mega Auction. He picked 1/33 against CSK in the first match he played in IPL 2022 for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He picked 3/28 in the previous match against Delhi and thus has 4 scalps in IPL 2022 playing 2 games averaging 15.25.

Harshal Patel

Harshal Patel fetched a whopping ₹10.75 crore in the IPL Mega Auction as the RCB bought back the Indian pacer. The fast bowler won the Purple Cap in the 2021 edition of the league with 32 wickets in his kitty. He picked 6 wickets so far in IPL 2022 averaging 21.33 which came at an economy of 6.4.

The 31-year-old pacer opted out of the bio bubble and didn’t play against CSK. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pace bowler Harshal Patel has reportedly left the IPL bio-bubble following the death of a family member-his sister. RCB missed him in the game against CSK, which they lost but he played against Delhi Capitals.

Akash Deep

The RCB retained the pacer for INR 7 crores. He has picked up 5 scalps in 6 games at a high average of 49.2 and may be replaced by Siddharth Kaul. An experienced pacer, Siddharth Kaul was picked by the RCB at the IPL 2022 Mega Auction for INR 75 lakhs.
