Mohammad Nabi Goes Unsold In IPL 2022 Mega Auction

Mohammed Nabi remained unsold in IPL 2022 auction. No franchises showed the intested to pick the Afghan all-rounder in their squad. However, he went unsold in the first round and will be back during the accelerated round if any of the franchises name him in the list. The Afghan player kept a base price of Rs. 1 crore for himself in IPL 2022 mega auction. He was part of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last edition.

Mohammad Nabi has been part of the Indian Premier League since the 2017 edition. He has played all the seasons for the same franchise. The Afghan all-rounder has played 17 matches in IPL over the years. He accounts for 180 runs and 13 wickets.

In his debut season IPL 2017, Nabi played just 3 matches. He scored 2 runs and picked 2 wickets. Later in the 2018 season, he played just 2 matches, scoring 18 runs and picking 1 wicket. In IPL 2019, he played 8 matches for the team. He scored 115 runs and picked 8 wickets.

In the last season IPL 2021, Nabi played 3 matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad. He scored 34 runs and picked 2 wickets. Due to an injury, he did not play the rest of the games. Ahead of IPL 2022 auction, Sunrisers Hyderabad released Nabi from the squad.
