RCB vs GT: Watch - Faf du Plessis's Brilliant Throw Ends Wriddhiman Saha's Innings

It’s an all-important game for Royal Challengers Bangalore against Gujarat Titans. While GT have already qualified for the playoffs and is definitely going to play in qualifier 1 on the 24th May, RCB is looking to win this game to stay in contention to qualify for the playoffs.

RCB started the game well for them as Josh Hazelwood who went for 60+ in the last game, took Shubman Gill’s wicket in his very first over courtesy of a brilliant catch by Glenn Maxwell.

Glenn Maxwell then returned to dismiss fellow Australian Matthew Wade albeit in controversial circumstances.

Wriddhiman Saha Was Looking In Ominous Touch Once Again

Saha was 31 off 22 balls and was looking good for yet another big score but a mix up in the 9th over led to his dismissal.

Harshal bowled a good length delivery outside off stump, and Hardik drove it to the left of cover and ran off, pausing briefly. Saha had to wait till the ball cleared the cover fielder. Faf du Plessis, on the other hand, rushed in from midfield and caught Saha off guard with a fantastic direct hit at the striker’s end. Saha was nowhere to be found in the frame.
