RCB vs MI: Watch - Kieron Pollard Dismissed For A Golden Duck By Wanindu Hasaranga

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) continued to pile on the pressure on Mumbai Indians (MI) as the all-rounder, Kieron Pollard, was dismissed for a golden duck by the leg-spinner, Wanindu Hasaranga.

Pollard had walked in after the dismissal of Tilak Varma courtesy of a stunning Glenn Maxwell run-out. He was up against his weakness – leg-spin bowling, and it once again proved to be the reason for his downfall.

Hasaranga cleverly dished out a googly that Pollard failed to read. He was struck right in front and the umpire had no hesitation in raising his finger. Pollard reviewed only to find that the ball was clipping the top of the leg stump, thereby ending his stay at the crease.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan put on 50 runs for the opening partnership. The former looked in good touch before being dismissed by Harshal Patel. Following Rohit’s wicket, a collapse ensued.

From 50/0, they were down to 62/5 with Pollard being the latest victim of some excellent bowling from the RCB players. The MI franchise is yet to open its account in this edition of the IPL.
