“All OK, Nothing Is Wrong” – CSK Official Amid Rumours Of Rift With Ravindra Jadeja

A Chennai Super Kings (CSK) official has talked about the rumours of a rift between the franchise and star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, asserting that all is well and “nothing is wrong”.

On March 24, just a few days before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 commenced, legendary captain MS Dhoni officially decided to hand over the CSK captaincy to Jadeja.

However, Chennai Super Kings struggled under Jadeja’s captaincy as they won only 2 games and faced 6 defeats.

Jadeja’s form with bat and ball also took a massive blow as in the 15th edition of the cash-rich league he scored 112 runs and bagged 5 wickets. So Jadeja decided to hand back the captaincy to Dhoni to focus more on his game.

Meanwhile, Jadeja removed all posts related to the Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 and 2022 campaigns from his official Instagram account, which is an indication that something is not well between Jadeja and the Chennai Super Kings franchise.

A Chennai Super Kings official tried to clear the air about the rift rumours between the franchise and the 33-year-old all-rounder, saying that removing posts from Instagram is a personal call by Jadeja.

“See, this is a personal call by him. We are not aware of such kinds of incidents from our side. All OK. Nothing is wrong,” a Chennai Super Kings official was quoted as saying by ANI.

Also, some reports have emerged stating that the star all-rounder didn’t wish legendary India and Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni on his birthday, July 7, on social media accounts, which he used to do earlier.

Meanwhile, Jadeja made a stellar comeback to the India National Cricket Team after an awful run in the Indian Premier League 2022. He smashed a sensational century for India in the Edgbaston Test against England and stitched up a 222-run partnership with Rishabh Pant in the first innings.

Jadeja has been appointed as India’s vice-captain for the ODI series against the West Indies. Also, the Chennai Super Kings congratulated the all-rounder for his appointment as vice-captain.
