After a thumping loss against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will look to hop their way to winning ways when they square off against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Maharastra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on April 30 (Monday).

Meanwhile, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his men will be desperate to shift gears as the tournament nears its business end.

The Super Kings will miss the service of exciting fast bowler Deepak Chahar, who will be out of action for at least two weeks.

Otherwise, it is a power-packed Chennai side which will take the field to trump Delhi. The form of Dhoni will provide them with an additional boost ahead of this tie.

Moreover, they will look to improve their fielding which costs them the last match.

Chennai is likely to field the same combinations from the last game.

Shane Watson:

Shane Watson has been in terrific form with both bat and ball. The veteran all-rounder’s form has been a huge boost for the Chennai side.

Meanwhile, he will look to continue his game going and contribute to Chennai’s success.

Faf du Plessis:

Du Plessis has settled early in the tournament for the Super Kings. Coming late in the tournament, he has already made his mark.

His form at the top will be crucial for the Super Kings in the business end of the league.

Suresh Raina:

Suresh Raina has shown hints of form in bits and pieces for his side. The southpaw will look to contribute to team’s success against RCB.

Raina’s return to form will be an added benefit to the Super Kings.

Ambati Rayudu:

Ambati Rayadu’s form at the top-order has been a revelation for Chennai. He has been the most consistent Chennai batsman scoring runs in almost all the games.

Rayadu will look to score more and present his case for a probable India spot.

 Mahendra Singh Dhoni (c & wk):

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is red-hot form in the ongoing league. His form with the bat has given Chennai an extra depth to their batting.

The former India captain will be desperate to take his over the rope against Bangalore.

Dwayne Bravo:

The all-rounder from Windies Dwayne Bravo has been a consistent performer for the Super Kings over the years. He has contributed with both bat and ball.

Bravo will aim to continue doing his job and win matches for his franchise.

Ravindra Jadeja:

Ravindra Jadeja has had a poor season so far, although, Dhoni hasn’t used him to his full potential.

Jadeja will look to come good with the ball and contain runs in the middle-over, he has been doing for CSK over the years.

Harbhajan Singh:

The veteran off-spinner has Harbhajan Singh done well in bits and pieces so far in this league.

However, Harbhajan needs to up his game to be in the first XI. Meanwhile, he possesses tons of experience which will benefit the team.

Imran Tahir:

Imran Tahir has picked wickets in every game, the reason he was bought by the Super Kings management. Although he was a bit expensive, he has broken important partnerships.

The South African leg-spinner will aim to continue the same effort going into the league.

Shardul Thakur:

Speedster Shardul Thakur has bowled well for Chennai, however, he was expensive at times.  The young seamer can swing the ball early and has the ability to trouble the batsmen.

Meanwhile, Thakur, a genuine match-winner has contributed in every game so far.

KM Asif:

The young seamer has already impressed with his wicket-taking abilities. However, he needs to be economical if Chennai wants to contain oppositions run flow.

Asif along with Shardul will be key to Chennai’s success.
