IPL 2018: KL Rahul Heaps Praises on Rishabh Pant’s Blazing Knock
KL Rahul appreciated the pyrotechnics of Delhi Daredevils’ (DD) wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant. The southpaw was on fire in the previous match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Kotla on May 10. Pant scored an unbeaten 128 runs off just 63 balls during the 42nd game of the Indian Premier League (IPL). However, his knock went in vain as Delhi lost the match.
Southpaw Pant scored the third century of the ongoing season. The combative batsman smashed 15 fours and seven maximums during his blistering knock.
Pant’s inning might be the best knock in this season of the IPL as he single-handedly powered Delhi to a par total of 187.
Pant was on fire against Sunrisers Hyderabad –
The aggressive batsman Pant is fine form in this edition of the IPL. The Delhi batsman has scored 521 runs to be the leading run-getter of the tournament. Thus, Pant currently holds the Orange Cap in this season.
Meanwhile, it is also noticed that the wicketkeepers of almost all the teams are in fine form. KL Rahul, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Ishan Kishan, Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik are doing a great job for their respective teams.
Jos Buttler has also found his form in the last couple of matches for Rajasthan Royals.
However, the pugnacious Pant will like to work on his running. He played a major role in the two run-outs in the last match against Hyderabad. The visitors were able to cruise to a nine-wicket win with seven balls to spare.
Daredevils have lost eight matches and the previous match defeat has ended their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs.
Meanwhile, Sunrisers team was able to seal their place in the final four after their ninth win of the season.
Rahul took to Twitter to heap praise an outstanding knock of Rishabh Pant.
Rahul post read as, “Serious Hitting and some unreal skill by @RishabPant777 !! Kudos brother! ??? Keep it Going.”
