David Warner who has been great form once again got Sunrisers Hyderabad off to a flying start alongside Wriddhiman Saha – promoted to open the innings. The started in the fifth gear and posted the highest powerplay score of the season – 77 for no loss. Warner cut loose first scoring 20 runs off the first two overs before Saha joined in. The third over yielded them 15 runs off Arshdeep Singh to keep the free flow of runs. Saha then took his Bengal teammate Mohammed Shami for 18th runs to cross the fifty-run mark. However, Murugan Ashwin struck right after powerplays to remove Saha. But Hyderabad played the masterstroke sending in form Manish Pandey who then combined well David Warner to lead the team. They added 82 runs for the second wicket before Pandey got out for a well-made 36. In the process, Warner crossed yet another half-century. He got soon after scoring 81 runs from just 56 deliveries to finish his IPL 2019 on high.

Kane Williamson then joined Maohmman Nabi to take the scorecard over the 200-run mark. However, a funny incident took the place in the 17th over off Mujeeb-ur Rahman. The Afghanistan off-spinner who had a bad in business bowled the first balls outside as Williamson went hard at this one as the thick outside edge flew over the fielders at short third and backward point. Chris Gayle went for the chase from short third man and ends up kicking it away to the fence.

It took everyone by shock and Gayle had a pale face while returning to his fielding position after a funny incident on the cricket field. It was an easy chase for Chris Gayle but he could’not get down on time only to kick it to the boundary.
