Tim Southee went unsold in the auctions earlier this year. However, the Kiwi pacer has been signed by Kolkata Knight Riders to replace Pat Cummins in the UAE leg. Cummins played in the 1st leg but will be unavailable to play in UAE. From the 2011 to 2019 season, Southee has picked 28 wickets in 40 matches.
